Bulgaria’s Southwest Tunes in to Macedonian, Greek Radio Stations

Gotse Delchev. One can easily tune in to Greek and Macedonian radio stations in southwestern Bulgaria. The jamming of the national media in the region is a daily grind and has been going on for years, FOCUS News Agency correspondent from the Bulgarian town of Gotse Delchev reports.
The people living in the Strumyani municipality and at Papaz Chayr, near Gotse Delchev, can tune into ten Greek and seven Macedonian radio stations. The foreign radio stations can be tuned in to easily also on the frequencies of Bulgarian radio stations.
In the town of Gotse Delchev and the region around it one can tune into Greek Era – Kavala, Era Sport and radio Xanti; one Thessaloniki radio station is jamming radio FOCUS along the road Bansko – Gotse Delchev.
On the main highway E79 people can also tune in to numerous Macedonian radio stations.
