o Ellinas

SEX GANGS FROM KAVALA

Woman held as sex slave

Police have arrested two men and are seeking another seven people who allegedly colluded to keep a 19-year-old foreign woman locked up in an apartment in Thessaloniki for several weeks as they prostituted her.

Officers said the young woman arrived in Greece on December 21 last year having been promised steady work. However, the members of the ring which brought her into the country took her travel documents and then forced her to sleep with men who paid the gang.

The victim alleged that she was taken to Athens and Kavala, northern Greece, where she was forced to have sex with the gang?s clients. The unnamed 19-year-old was kept under guard in an apartment in Thessaloniki for the rest of the time. The woman escaped recently and went to the police. This led to the arrest of two bar owners from Kavala, aged 42 and 44

WHO PUT THOSE REDICULOUS LAWS? FREE THE INTERNET NOW !!!!

I visited one of my favorite radiostations.. ... http://www.dream100.com/

And...

SorryYou must be in the United Kingdom to listen to the Dream 100 stream.
Your IP address appears to be from 'Greece'.
Why can I no longer listen?

New licensing terms which came into effect on 1 April 2006 mean that UK commercial radio stations wishing to simulcast on the internet outside the UK now have to pay additional fees to do so. Many stations have taken the view that at this time, the price of the rights being charged by rights owners (the record companies) to stream via the internet outside the UK is too costly. Consequently, these stations must restrict their streams to the UK to avoid incurring additional charges. Please contact the station you are trying to access if you wish to comment or require further information.

You have been blocked as your geographical location has been identified as being overseas through your IP address. If you are trying to listen from the UK but cannot access the stream it is likely that your ISP or company is routing your connection through the identified country. Anti-Bulgarianism in Macedonia

Anti-Bulgarianism in Macedonia
09:00 Mon 22 Jan 2007 - Yana Moyseeva

The commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the death of Mara Buneva, a Bulgarian rebel who fought against Serb terror in Macedonia in the late 1920s, turned into a scene of anti-Bulgarian activities in the centre of the Macedonian capital Skopje on January 13.

About 30 hooligans with masks and sticks attacked participants in her memorial service, which took place at Buneva?s memorial stone near a bridge in the city. Among the participants were Bulgarians, Macedonians with Bulgarian identity and representatives of Bulgaria?s Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organisation (IMRO). The attackers threw stones chanting ?Bulgarians, Tartars? and ?Die, Bulgarians, it?s Macedonia here?.

The Macedonian Interior Ministry initially reported that only one person had been injured and hospitalised. But the hospital in Skopje reported that four or five people were harmed in the attack. That same night, Buneva?s monument was pilfered and all the flowers and wreaths around it were burnt. According to witnesses, the Macedonian police not only didn?t interfere in the fight, but watched from the side. IMRO accused the Macedonian government in organising the attack.

The Bulgarian newspaper Standart reported that, according to Skopje-based journalist Victor Kazunov, in the evening of January 12 there had been a controversial TV show on the channel Sky Net . It called on the public to send text messages in support of stopping the ?the celebrations of the Bulgarophiles for Mara Buneva?.

According to Kazunov, this campaign meant that the attack had been planned in advance. According to the journalist, during the past few months there has been ?an incredible, hysterical, anti-Bulgarian, chauvinist campaign? in the local media. Reportedly a group of Macedonians of Bulgarian descent sent a protest letter to the Bulgarian ambassador to Macedonia, Miho Mihov. In it, they asked that Bulgaria respond to the pressure being put on Bulgarophiles in Macedonia.

The media mentioned the attack. But the media played down the incident. The Macedonian daily Utrinski Vesnik rejected accounts that four or five people were injured. Instead, the paper reported just two victims, Dragan  Popov, and Miroslav Rizinski, an MP candidate during the most recent Macedonian parliamentary elections.

According to the paper, police called a number of suspects for interrogation, but so far no one has been recognised by witnesses at the commemoration. Suspects were thus released and the police still haven?t detained anyone, the Macedonian newspaper Dnevnik added.

Macedonian television A1 reported that Bulgaria wanted an official explanation on the incident from the Macedonian embassy in Sofia.

However, according to the A1 report, the Macedonian foreign ministry still had not commented on the incident. Only A1 mentioned that the Bulgarian-Macedonian relationship could suffer as a result of the attack. Bulgarian and Macedonian leaders said the relationship between the two countries was improving, but the incident showed otherwise, A1 said.

The reaction in Bulgaria was stern. On January 15, Macedonian ambassador to Bulgaria Abdiraman Aliti  was called to the Interior Ministry. There, the director of Europe 1 Directorate in the Foreign Ministry Kossyo Kitipov gave Aliti a verbal note.

Moreover, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivailo Kalfin said he expected the Macedonian authorities to take quick actions to solve the case. He added that he would make the same demand at the Macedonian embassy in Bulgaria, Focus news agency reported.  The Macedonian media artificially and unnecessarily contribute to anti-Bulgarian feelings in Macedonia, said Kalfin on Nova TV on January 14. Kalfin said the Macedonian government wanted to maintain a good dialogue with Bulgaria. But at the same time, he said: ?We would like to see a more serious engagement from the Macedonian politicians to stop this anti-Bulgarian campaign?.

The incident in Skopje is considered part of a ongoing anti-Bulgarian campaign in Macedonia, said former Bulgarian ambassador to Macedonia Angel Dimitrov.

The incident was a proof that certain circles in Macedonia continued their attempts for leading active propaganda against Bulgaria, said the spokesman of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, Dimitar Tsantchev. He added that it was obvious that some people in Macedonia still preferred to live in the past and remain closed to European values and standards.

IMRO?s reaction on the incident was also uncompromising. In a special declaration, the party called for an immediate cease of dialogue between the Bulgarian government and the authorities in Skopje regarding Macedonia?s possible accession to Nato and the European Union.

?The political position the Bulgarian Government so far has had toward Macedonia ? to close their eyes to such incidents in the name of maintaining a good relationship between Sofia and Skopje ? is obviously in vain. They have the exact opposite effect in Skopje. This position is accepted in the anti-Bulgarian circles in Skopje as indecisiveness and a lack of interest in Bulgaria towards the rights and interests of its citizens living on the territory of Macedonia,? the declaration read.

A new Macedonian encyclopaedia includes the Bulgarian towns of Blagoevgrad, Petrich, Melnik and Sandanski as Macedonian land.

The encyclopaedia includes Thessaloniki, Skopje, Kavala, Bitolja, Tetovo, Kumanovo and others as part of these territories.

?The provocations are not accidental,? Bulgarian historian professor Bozhidar Dimitrov told Focus news agency. According to Dimitrov, Macedonian nationals seek to distance Macedonia from the EU and Nato, because the country?s membership in the international organisations would put an end to claims on its neighbours? lands.

Bulgaria has been supporting Macedonia?s bid to join Nato and the EU. It was also the first country to recognise Macedonia as an independent country in 1991. Bulgarian visas were made free for Macedonians when Bulgaria had to introduce a visa regime to its neighbouring countries, which are now the EU?s external borders.

Bulgarian officials may speak of good and improving relationships between the two countries. But some people in Macedonia think differently.

VERY FUNNY VIDEOS RE..LOADED ! ty john

Ever been caught out when your other half calls you on the mobile, and discovers you?re in a bar by figuring out the background noises and stuck for excuses?

Well, wonder no more what to say as I have the perfect way to get out of it. Let?s hope they don?t use video calling on 3G or feel frisky and want to come over for some action as that might get hard to explain.

You can however, thwart 3G video calls by saying that ure 3G reception is bad as video calls don?t really work on GSM. Pity if she asks for a lovey dovey MMS pic as you are right this minute (unless u have them pre-prepared on the phone)

Skype Spyware Discovered

Skype Spyware Discovered
January 05, 2007

A worm targeting users of the popular VoIP telephone application Skype was
recently discovered in the APAC region, specifically Korea. According to
Websense, the worm uses Skype Chat to download and execute a file named
sp.exe. The file appears to drop a password-stealing Trojan with the worm
packed using NTKrnl Secure Suite, a rare, but not unknown, compression.

"The (sort of) good news is that no widespread outbreak has been reported
yet," said Paul Oliveria of Trend Micro. "That doesn't mean that Skype users
should just go ahead and click the links they receive while chatting,
though."

Since the spyware does not appear to exploit any flaws in Skype, user
intervention is required to send the link to an affected Skype user's
available contacts. An affected user is notified that a program is
attempting access and must acknowledge it. Therefore, users should not allow
suspicious programs to access Skype and should also avoid clicking on links
coming from unexpected sources.

Trend Micro currently detects the password-stealing component as TSPY_SKPE,
which is not the first malware/spyware to use Skype: last October
WORM_SKYPERISE.A
was detected.

"The difference is that this spyware already employs a more malicious
routine (information theft), compared to the October worm that only spreads
copies of itself to other users," said Oliveria.

Despite the fact that this worm's propagation technique is common, VoIP is
obviously becoming a good prospect as a new malware vector into which
malicious authors can sink their teeth. Additionally, the password-stealing
routine, polymorphic compression to avoid easy detection, and a specific
country of origin indicate that this is a localized/targeted attack geared
for profit.

Trend Micro already detects this spyware using the latest pattern file.
Based on the manual removal instructions, affected users can simply delete
the detected file and remove the registry entry it creates.

The Trojan spyware is hosted by a malicious Web site. A link to the site is
sent to Skype contacts via the Chat feature, urging users to click on it. It
may use a form of social engineering by posing as a "cool program". As of
this writing the site is already unavailable.

Initial analysis of the sample received by the Service Team reveals that
this spyware is a typical keylogger; logging user keystrokes and saving the
gathered data in a text file. This routine may grant malicious users, which
may include remote hackers, unauthorized access to an affected user's Skype
account, possibly online banking accounts, and more.

Because the Service Team has received only two submissions so far, Trend
Micro believes this is an isolated incident.

"According to our AV Engineers, the few case submissions are partly because
our products real-time scanning feature already detects and removes this
spyware," said Oliveria. "Whether this is also an indication that Skype
users are smart enough to NOT click the suspicious link, or that malware
authors are simply testing the waters, I'm not sure.

It is likely that we will see additional VoIP threats in the future. After
all, Vishing (phishing over VoIP) is already making rounds over the
Internet. And Wikipedia includes an entry
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VoIP_spam) for "an as-yet-nonexistent problem"
of VoIP spam, called SPIT (Spam over Internet Telephony). Expect similar, if
not more sophisticated, VoIP threats to come along.

Breaking Topic: Bulgarian Hands Note to Skopje

16 January 2007 | 08:02 |
Bulgaria handed a verbal note to Macedonia over the violent attack against Bulgarians who had gathered to mark the death anniversary of Mara Buneva in Skopje.
Macedonia?s ambassador in Bulgaria was informed that Bulgaria demanded that all the necessary measures be taken ? the attackers should be punished and similar incidents averted in the future. Both, the Bulgarian and Macedonian media followed the event closely. Meanwhile, it was announced that the new Macedonian encyclopedia includes the Bulgarian towns of Blagoevgrad, Petrich, Melnik, and Sandanski describing them as the larger towns from Macedonia?s shares ? Aegean, Vardar and Pirin. Along with the Bulgarian towns, the encyclopedia lists Thessaloniki, Skopje, Kavala, Bitolja, Tetovo, Kumanovo and etc. describing them as also part of ?these territories?.
?The provocations are not accidental?, Bulgarian historian Prof. Bozhidar Dimitrov said. According to him, each act of Macedonism was aimed to distance Macedonia from the EU and NATO, because the country?s membership in them would put an end to the lies and Macedonism.

Skopje. Almost a year after the beginning of the term of office, the acting leader of Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization-People's Party Lyubcho Georgievski Ljupco Georgievski continues to rank first in the list of MPs who miss to attend the sessions of the Macedonian Parliament, the Macedonian Vecer newspaper reported. The printed edition points that Georgievski has not honored the voters of the fifth constituency with his attention. According to source from the political party, the former prime minister decides for himself when and whether to show up at the parliament. ?Georgievski must have observed some engagements connected to his work. Probably, he will soon finally attend some of the sessions. However, we are talking about his private opinion on the matter?, the party?s spokesman Aleksandar Georgiev said. Till December 27th, Daut Redzhepi-Leka from the Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA) was also walking in VMRO - PP acting leader?s shoes. He took his post in parliament after he testified on the case concerning the 12 Macedonian people kidnapped during the conflict in 2001. Other absence record breakers among the 118 MPs, who more or less have deserved their salaries, are the leaders of the Party for Democratic Prosperity (PD) and the Democratic Union for Integration - Abduladi Vejseli and Ali Ahmeti.

Doctored drinks send youngsters to hospital

Ten youngsters were hospitalized in the early hours of New Year?s Day after suffering suspected alcohol poisoning at the same nightclub in the northern city of Kavala, police said.

The boys and girls, whose identities and exact ages were not revealed, had all displayed signs of excessive inebriation, while some had suffered bouts of fainting, according to doctors at Kavala?s municipal hospital.

The doctors who treated the youngsters said the youngsters had probably consumed inferior-quality or doctored alcohol at the club they frequented.

The symptoms displayed by the youngsters can also be characteristic of the consumption of very large quantities of regular alcohol, the doctors said.

All 10 youngsters had been discharged by early Monday afternoon.
