| Skopje. An encyclopedia, issued in Macedonia, claims that the Bulgarian regions Blagoevgrad, Petrich, Melnik and Sandanski are some of the ?larger areas of the parts of Macedonia ? Aegean, Vardarska and Pirinska. Thessaloniki, Skopje, Kavala, Bitola, Tetovo, Kumanovo are mentioned as such parts too. ?The encyclopedia considers Macedonia as a historical and geographical entity?, Jovan Pavlovski, one of the makers of the encyclopedia says in an interview for New Macedonia newspaper.
