Connection
The construction of a road connecting Plovdiv with the Greek city of Kavala via the southern town of Gotse Delchev was discussed on May 1 in a Bulgarian-Greek meeting held in Gotse Delchev. Participants in the meeting were Kostas Efmeridis, mayor of the Greek city of Drama, and the mayors of Gotse Delchev, Simitli and other small Bulgarian municipalities. After the meeting, it became clear that there were several options offered by the Greek side for the construction of the connection road between Plovdiv and the port of Kavala
